How do I become a Member of

Pittsburgh Elks Lodge No. 11

· You must be 21 years of age and a U.S. citizen.

· Complete an application which has the recommendation of an elk (who will be your sponsor) and include three other references

· Your application will be referred to our investigation committee and, assuming a positive outcome, your request will be published in our next newsletter and voted on at the following meeting.

· There will be an indoctrination (your wife and sponsor will be invited) to give a history and information on the order of elks and our lodge No. 11

· You will then be initiated at the next meeting. There will not be any hazing, nor will there be anything of an offensive or questionable nature.

· You will be issued a card key and membership card which will give you access to the building.

· You will then be a full fledged member and entitled to participate in all of the events and activities.
